Logistics Manager

AT&T is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee the performance of order placement and tracking, receiving, stocking, selecting, packing, shipping, and supplier performance management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in supervising and managing a team of employees.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of employees, including material controllers, fleet mechanics, drafters, and administrative associates.
- Oversee the flow and distribution of inventory and supplies.
- Maintain technician work schedules and attendance management.
- Provide feedback, training, and coaching to employees.
- Evaluate and appraise employee performance.
- Interview and gauge the skill level of potential hires and transfers.
- Handle employee grievances consistent with the collective bargaining agreement at the step one level.
- Identify and remove roadblocks to safe and efficient performance by employees.
- Conduct in-field safety and quality inspections to ensure employees are performing work properly and safely.
- Act as single point of contact for virtually all customer escalations.
- Resolve customer complaints on behalf of the company.
- Serve as the organization's Fleet Manager, overseeing all vehicles and ensuring compliance with both internal and external policies.
- Implement warehouse practices and procedures that improve inventory accuracy, project material accountability, and reduce overhead.
- Manage the budget used to procure valuable network equipment.
- Follow the Business Unit's Safety Plan, completing all required Safety Observations and Competencies in the required timeframe.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- High school diploma preferred.
