The Marketing and Events Coordinator will assist our marketing team in coordinating events, managing marketing materials, and promoting activities within the cannabis industry.
They will work closely with the team to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives and effective brand communication and representation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and coordinating materials, swag, and promotional items for events.
- Support promotional coordination with partners.
- Distribute and install marketing materials at dispensaries.
- Help with swag kitting, packaging of product dummies, and coordination with the sales and brand ambassador teams.
- Assist in social media activations, including content capture at events and for campaigns.
- Conduct audits of the company website for usability, missing information, and errors.
- Develop a competitive analysis of marketing activities across the cannabis industry to identify trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Marketing, Communications or Advertising Major
- Experience with Microsoft business suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Experience with Canva a plus
- Experience in retail or other service industry preferred
- Some physical activity required lifting and moving boxes, etc.
- Some local travel
