About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Substitute Teacher to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and be part of a compassionate community.

This role requires creating a positive and supportive learning environment, implementing curriculum through daily care routines, and maintaining open communication with parents. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children, including reporting needed repairs and maintaining health standards.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote social, physical, and intellectual growth, such as arts, crafts, music, and outdoor play.
  • Maintain open and friendly communication with parents, including sharing information about their child's daily activities and progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in an early childhood education setting.
  • Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and basic computer skills.
