Medical Assistant Specialist for Clinical Team

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our clinical team at ECHN. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical assisting principles and experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will be responsible for performing various clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, conducting vision screenings, and collecting phlebotomy specimens. Additionally, you will assist with procedures and maintain patient records accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take and document vital signs, records vision screenings, and notes other required procedures according to policy.
  • Complete initial patient assessment for all injuries according to standards as evidenced by chart review.
  • Assist with procedures as documented by supervisor and physician feedback.
  • Maintain patient rooms in a clean, orderly, and well-stocked manner.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
  • At least one year of medical office experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
