The Patient Care Specialist role at Baptist Health is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care. As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to work collaboratively with patients, Charge Nurses, and Registered Nurses to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct patient care, prioritizing their needs and comfort.
  2. Support admission and discharge processes, ensuring a seamless transition for patients.
  3. Facilitate patient education and engagement through group activities and individual interactions.
  4. Ensure a safe and secure environment by conducting regular safety checks.

Essential Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Nursing Assistant or patient care technician certification or relevant experience.
  • Maintain stable physical and mental health to meet the demands of this role.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic safety principles.
  • Possess effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
