Family Medicine Physician

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician to join our Direct Care Clinic, providing same-day/next-day access to patients with acute non-life-threatening needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality medical care for patients with non-life-threatening conditions, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating various acute illnesses and injuries.
- Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures like suturing or splinting as needed.
- Make timely decisions regarding patient transfer to higher levels of acute care and stabilize patients while awaiting transfer.
- Efficiently manage patient flow, ensure accurate documentation, and provide guidance on follow-up care or referrals to specialists when necessary.
- A current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota (or eligibility).
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine, with a commitment to achieving certification within 4 years from completion of residency or training program.
- Current DEA certification (or eligibility) and Basic Life Support Certification or completion.
We offer a competitive salary of $**175,000 - $225,000 per year**, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
