Livestock Production Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Livestock Production Specialist to join our team at United Producers, Inc.

$45,000 - $65,000 per year

We are responsible for safely loading, unloading, sorting, moving, and penning livestock following animal well-being guidelines. This role also involves writing tickets with information regarding the livestock and producers, as well as caring for the livestock. Additionally, we are responsible for the general upkeep of the facility, including cleaning and repairs, and providing excellent customer service to our producers and buyers.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Ability to read, write, and count;
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions;
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, see, and hear;
• Must be agile;
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. regularly;
• Must have experience with livestock;
• Prior experience driving a skid loader is preferred.
