At ICON Medical Network, we're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care to adult male and female incarcerated individuals.



This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of $124,000 per year, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule and no weekends or on-call shifts. As a Nurse Practitioner on our team, you'll have the autonomy to provide primary and acute/chronic care management, conducting occasional emergency care when needed.



We're looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of recent experience working as a Nurse Practitioner with adults, preferably with acute care experience. While correctional experience is a plus, it's not required. Our ideal candidate will be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice, hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, and maintain a current unrestricted RN license for the state in which they're practicing.



About the Role


  • Provide primary and acute/chronic care management to adult male and female incarcerated individuals
  • Conduct occasional emergency care when needed
  • Demonstrate autonomy and proficiency in comprehensive health assessments
  • Effectively communicate with the care team and facilitate a medically appropriate plan of care


Requirements




  • At least 1 year of recent experience working as a Nurse Practitioner with adults
  • Acute care experience required
  • Correctional experience a plus but not required
  • LICENSURE, CREDENTIALING AND CERTIFICATION: Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice; Basic Cardiac Life Support certification; Current unrestricted RN license for the state in which the provider is practicing


Compensation and Schedule

We offer a competitive salary of $124,000 per year and a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call shifts.
