Job Summary

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Director of Sales, stepping into their role when necessary, maintaining existing relationships with corporate and social accounts, and fostering internal customer relationships to ensure consistent high-level service throughout events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Organize and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals, ensuring timely communication with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person.">
  • Maintain excellent working relationships from initial lead calls through follow-up solicitations and maintain contact with support departments until event conclusion.">
  • Build house accounts, input rooming lists, and make adjustments as needed to group contracts, proposals, and banquet event orders.">
  • Create and communicate documents including BEOs, group resumes, post-event reports, menus, diagrams/floor plans.">
  • Handle RFPs and Preferred Agreements, acting as a liaison between sales teams, hotels, and customers.">
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and client interactions for Groups, Room lists, Catering, and Events in a professional, courteous manner.">
  • Input programs into booking systems, manage VIP guest arrangements, and coordinate site visits.">
  • Participate in customer site inspections or tours and assist with the sales process as necessary.">
  • Ensure accurate billing, folios, and invoices for client functions or group bookings.">
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, meeting client expectations.">
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes.">
  • Make informed decisions and solve problems by analyzing issues and determining the best solutions.">
  • Utilize technology sales tools for efficient data management and content creation.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 1 year's hotel experience.">
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).">
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills (presentations, written, and verbal).">
  • Familiarity with Hilton computer systems (Delphi FDC/Salesforce).">
  • Experience organizing and managing multiple projects.">
  • Hotel Sales and Events experience.">
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.">

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum

This salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of experience required for this role.
