Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Trial Attorney to join our growing legal team. As a trial attorney, you will be responsible for representing our clients in court, managing and organizing caseloads, developing strategies, and advising clients on their legal rights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
  • Conduct research, interview clients and witnesses, and handle other details in preparation for trial.
  • Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other pleadings in accordance with the court's rules.
  • Develop litigation strategies, negotiate with opposing counsel, and advise clients on their legal rights.
  • Handle a variety of complex cases including medical malpractice, personal injury, legal malpractice, professional liability, and business law litigation.
  • Manage all phases of the litigation from the investigation, pleadings, and discovery through the pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing with the local State Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a trial attorney, specifically dealing with medical malpractice, personal injury, legal malpractice, professional liability, and business law litigation.
  • Proven track record of achieving favorable verdicts in court.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Strong research and report writing skills.
  • Ability to handle a high caseload and a willingness to meet the demands of the role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Proficient in legal research software and MS Office.
