Job Overview:

In a world of endless opportunities, Parsons Corporation is seeking a talented Mid-Level Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

As a Network Engineer, you will:
  • Use your knowledge of network systems to design and install internal and external networks.
  • Test and evaluate network systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure compliance with established guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
  • Certifications such as JNCDA, JNCDS-DC, JNCDS-SEC, CCNA, or equivalent.
  • A current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have:
  • A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Top Secret OR interim/active Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
  • DoD Certifications such as CompTIA Security, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.
  • Experience with firewalls, automated network builds, and security hardening.
  • Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concepts.
