Job Title: Night Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Ontario. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Balance and account for all daily cash and charge transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review and analyze all adjustments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Post room, tax, and miscellaneous charges to guest folios, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Ensure all guest charges have been balanced from various outlets and applied to the correct guest ledgers.
  • Inform the General Manager of any control issues, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
  • Follow the audit binder and checklist to ensure all duties and timelines are met.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease.
  • Flexibility to work regularly scheduled weekend and evening hours, as needed.
  • Set high standards of performance for self and others, assuming responsibility and accountability for successful completion of assignments or tasks.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; 1+ years of experience in Hotel guest services and/or front desk, receptionist.
  • OR 2-year degree or more from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.
