Blood Bank Specialist for North Carolina

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (Med Tech) to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in our Blood Bank/Transfusion department, ensuring the safe and efficient transfusion of blood products to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to analyze blood and blood components.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide excellent patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental performance.
Requirements:
- College degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- ASCP certification in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of blood banking and transfusion medicine principles.
