About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in a school-based position outside of Shelby, NC.

This is a full-time position through the end of the 2024/25 school year, working with elementary school-aged students. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality interpretation services and a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation for students, teachers, and staff
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and industry standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as an interpreter
  • A 3.3+ EIPA Score
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced educational setting
