Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care. Our hospital has received prestigious awards, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Salary
">The estimated salary for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
Job Description
">This role plays a crucial part in cardiovascular procedures by preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will collaborate with cardiologists and leadership while serving as a preceptor for new staff. The ideal candidate will have a background in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular programs and hold relevant certifications and licenses.
Responsibilities:
">- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
">- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
