Dynamic Residential Program Leader

Job Description:

This dynamic residential program leader will oversee staff and direct care issues in Intercept's Fresh Start Program, ensuring effective management of high-quality care delivery in a cost-effective manner.

The ideal candidate will maintain regular communication with the Regional Program Manager for oversight of job responsibilities and ensure seamless collaboration between teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate services offered to residents, including establishing relationships with families and planning future care arrangements.
  • Assist residents in developing interpersonal skills essential for success in life.
  • Communicate resident needs effectively to promote positive adjustment to group living.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an estimated base salary of $55,000, plus additional incentives based on experience and education. The selected candidate can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance options, dental and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, and more.

Required Qualifications:

  1. A master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling; or
  2. A baccalaureate degree in social work or psychology with documented field work experience and must be supervised by the program director or other staff employed by the provider with the same qualifications as required by 22VAC40-151-290 D; or
  3. A baccalaureate degree and three years of professional experience working with children.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

QMHP and Master's degree in a human services field with three or more years' experience with children, one of which is in a residential facility; Bachelor's degree in a human services field required with five or more years' experience with children two of which are in a residential facility; Two or more years in group home management/supervision or similar experience.
