Sales Manager Job Description

The Sales Manager is a key role at the YMCA of the North, responsible for promoting memberships, programs, and services to support branch goals. This position requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet monthly and annual sales goals and activity quotas.
  • Drive sales goals aligned with membership and programs at designated branches.
  • Expand outreach prospecting of potential new members.
  • Attend all required meetings/trainings and actively engage with fellow teammates and leadership.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two (2) years of sales or sales-related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly.
  • Highly responsive, organized, and multi-task.

The ideal candidate will reside within a reasonable distance to the branch location to support understanding community needs. Basic life support, oxygen, and first aid certification is preferred.
