Salary and Benefits
The Advanced Nurse Resident position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience. Job Description
We're seeking highly motivated and compassionate nurses to join our StaRN Residency Program at Summerville Medical Center. As an Advanced Nurse Resident, you'll be part of a supportive community that promotes learning, clinical application, and socialization. Under the guidance of experienced nurse educators and preceptors, you'll develop valuable clinical skills and critical thinking abilities necessary for success in today's hospital environment. The one-year program includes hands-on training, monthly educational sessions, and mentorship from experienced nurse leaders. You'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively on evidence-based practice projects and apply your skills in real-world settings.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of nursing models and practices is essential. We welcome applications from recent graduates or experienced nurses looking to transition into a new role. A valid Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse in the state is required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment, while Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within one year. Some travel may be necessary for training. Additional certifications may be required during employment.
