About the Role

Job Overview

The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Registered Nurse with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the RN with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
  • Respond to patient needs and take a proactive role in maintaining efficient unit operations.
Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT or commensurate experience.
  • Previous ESA/PCA experience required.
  • Nursing student with completed fundamentals of nursing and clinical component preferred.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Red Cross required upon hire.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
