Overview

Norman Regional Health System is a renowned healthcare provider, nestled in the heart of Oklahoma. Our innovative cardiovascular program is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Technologist to join our team.

We are proud to offer a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, equipped with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing equipment before and during procedures
  • Identifying and assessing patient condition
  • Preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
  • Maintaining a sterile environment

Professional Practice

The ideal candidate will:

  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff
  • Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
  • Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months

Education and Experience

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military program
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
  • Previous procedural area experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
