We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Material Handler to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a critical member of our logistics operation, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods throughout our warehouse.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for operating material handling equipment to load and unload designated trailers, picking orders, and moving products throughout the warehouse. You will also be required to verify and receive materials in inventory, perform pre-operation and post-operation equipment checks, and adhere to health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading designated trailers using reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, or other heavy material handling equipment.
  • Picking orders and moving products throughout the warehouse.
  • Verifying and receiving materials in inventory.
  • Performing pre-operation and post-operation equipment checks.
  • Following health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of recent experience operating a forklift, including a reach truck, order picker, and sit-down forklifts.
  • Forklift certification.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The ability to work overtime or weekends.
  • The ability to walk or stand for extended periods while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes.
