About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Williamson Health. As an ICU nurse, you will coordinate and implement nursing care for patients in a high-stakes environment. Your dedication to providing compassionate care while adhering to the highest standards of medical practices is essential to ensuring thorough assessments and tailored treatment plans.
Salary
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description
The successful candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure, function dependently and independently, and be flexible in applying basic nursing knowledge to a variety of settings. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time of admission utilizing skills of observation, communication, and examination;
- Planning patient care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems, and attainable outcomes;
- Handling/transports/stores/prepares/administers medications/solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A nursing diploma or degree from a college or university;
- Licensure in the State of Tennessee;
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire;
- Basic arrhythmia, ACLS, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certifications within six months of hire.
