About the Role

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including an estimated $64,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to obstetric patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

  • Care Coordination: Direct and coordinate all nursing care for your assigned patients, ensuring seamless and effective care delivery.
  • Patient Education: Provide timely health information and written materials to patients and their significant others, documenting these interactions.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of nursing care through participation in performance improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Patient Care Specialist, you must possess a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and hold current RN licensure in the State of Ohio. Additionally, you should have certification in American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) and be able to attain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of employment.
