About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Burlington, MA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for implementing new industry methods to ensure the latest process technologies are utilized in the production of orthopedic implants and instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • Design and develop CNC programs, fixtures, and setup sheets
  • Validate programs before release to production
  • Support machine setup and operation
  • Identify and order special tooling as needed
  • Create product and process specifications
  • Manage tool life and optimize unattended machine operations
  • Apply project management skills to schedule and document tasks
  • Provide guidance to less experienced engineers
  • Participate in contract review meetings and propose design changes
Requirements
  • Highly skilled in operating CNC machines, including EDM RAM, EDM Wire, Lathe, Mill, Mill-Turn, and Swiss
  • Proficient in 3D CAD and CAM programming
  • Experienced in dimensional inspection using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and height gauges
  • Strong mathematical abilities and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and mechanical aptitude
