Swim Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching water safety and swimming techniques to children? Do you have a knack for creating a fun and engaging learning environment? We're seeking a skilled Swim Instructor to join our team at Goldfish Swim School - Redmond

• Provide high-quality swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Interact with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and provide feedback.
• Act as a GSS ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction and promote the school's values.
• Use problem-solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter.
• Inspect pool areas before and after each class for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues and report them to management as needed.
• Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment and place and remove lane lines as required.
• Report accidents and incidents to management and complete required documentation and paperwork.
• Perform Deck Teacher duties as needed.
• Attend required/mandatory workshops and in-service training outside of regular working hours.

• Ability to work with children and provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass background examinations (included with training).
• Ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week and maintain a consistent schedule.
• Must be at least 16 years old or turning 16 years old upon start date.
