Job Summary

As a Design Consultant for Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc., you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and design expertise to homeowners, interior designers, and builders. Your primary goal will be to create and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with customers to understand their design needs and preferences
  • Provide expert advice on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for flooring and decor projects
  • Design and sell complete solutions for residential and commercial projects
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Collaborate with store leadership and employees to achieve sales and other goals
  • Stay up-to-date on current and emerging design trends in the market
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of interior design experience or prior retail/sales experience
  • Degree in Design is a plus
  • Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus
  • Proficient in basic mathematical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite
Working Conditions
  • Limited travel may be required by car
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles
