Senior Bioinformatics Analyst

Are you a skilled bioinformatician looking to leverage your expertise in biological sciences and data analysis? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Bioinformatics Analyst at Nelson Scientific Labs LLC.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support our biomedical research projects. The successful candidate will work with big data analyses, statistical approaches, and machine learning techniques to develop novel approaches for harmonizing multiple large datasets.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or a related field and possess strong programming skills in R, Python, and database applications. Experience with multi-omics data analysis, including metabolomics, lipidomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics, is highly desirable.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits. Located in Potomac, MD, this role requires the ability to relocate and occasional travel up to 5%.
