Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough dental exams, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough dental exams and provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
- Provide education and guidance on proper oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical techniques and technologies
- Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening
- CPR Certification
- 1+ years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
The ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
