About the Role:We are looking for a skilled professional with 3+ years of experience in an acute care setting, specifically in trauma or intensive care units. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and ensuring high-quality patient care in our 383-bed hospital. Your expertise will drive excellence in patient safety, service quality, and team collaboration.
The ideal candidate must possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage teams and resources. Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and vision for the Step-Down Trauma Unit, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow, effective handovers, and coordinated care.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
- Foster a culture of safety, recognizing and mitigating potential risks to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida.
- ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- 3+ years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in trauma or ICU.
- Management specialty certification within 6 months of eligibility; unit specialty certification also preferred.
The estimated salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
