Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients and select technical factors and equipment to obtain high-quality scans.
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment to perform procedures in various hospital settings.
  • Assist physicians with recommendations for optimal studies and technical factors.
  • Deliver patient care and maintain department standards of quality improvement.
  • Prepare ultrasound rooms and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Document patient records and maintain accurate inventory of supplies.
Requirements:
  • ARDMS Registry eligibility.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
