Earn a Competitive Salary: As a registered nurse in this progressive care unit, you can expect to earn a competitive salary, estimated to be around $120,000 per year, based on a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour shifts. This figure may vary depending on factors such as experience and location.

Responsibilities

As a PCU RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to patients who require a moderate level of monitoring and assessment. Your duties will include:

  • Assessing patients' conditions and developing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of one year of recent acute care experience in a specialty related to progressive care unit nursing
  • An active RN license in good standing
