Pediatric Nurse Care Specialist

Aveanna is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse Care Specialist to provide exceptional care to patients in their homes. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
About the Role:
- Salary: $31.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Location: Salem, OR 97302.
- Job Type: Full-time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents in the comfort of their own homes. This includes:
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Providing hands-on care, including administration of medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
- Collaborating with family members and caregivers to educate them on patient care and provide support as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care provided.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Oregon.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
