The program aims to create a talent pipeline for the bank while providing interns with the chance to apply their classroom knowledge in a corporate environment.


The Critical Facilities Intern will be assigned various areas of responsibility within the department, focusing on mechanical maintenance under the supervision of a qualified Building Technician. Expect a combination of research, online course review, and hands-on work in the Raleigh market.


Interns will have the opportunity to present to the group on a topic of their choice at the end of the program and attend one-on-one meetings with direct supervisors for feedback and program improvement.


**Job Description**

  • Technology enhancements and support


Additionally, interns will attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking events, and community service events. A dedicated manager and program manager will assist in navigating the bank and the internship program.


**Salary and Benefits**


This position comes with a competitive salary estimated at $40,000-$50,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of Raleigh. Full-time associates (20+ hours) are offered a comprehensive benefits program, including customized offerings designed to support families, health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.


**Qualifications**


To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience
  • Current enrollment at an accredited collegiate institution during the summer program
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the program


Preferred qualifications include:

  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Majors in Mechanical Engineering or Building (Facility) Maintenance
  • Knowledge of hand tools
  • Strong desire to learn and grow
  • Natural curiosity and enjoyment of collaborating with others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Adaptability and ability to adjust priorities based on business needs
