About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Program Development Specialist to join our team at KVC Health Systems. As a key member of our staff, you will provide case management services to children and families in order to facilitate safety, permanency, and wellbeing.

This is a full-time position located in Olathe, KS, with an estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 is available for external candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Provide home and community-based services to clients, including observation of caregiver/child interaction, resource coordination, on-call crisis intervention, safety planning, skill building, transportation, and drug-screening.
  • Assessment and Advocacy: Utilize information gathered through assessment processes to advocate for clients' best interests, providing court testimony, attending school meetings, and coordinating mental health services as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough records, including case logs, comprehensive assessments, court reports, and social histories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, community counseling, human development, child and family development, applied family and youth services, public health, health sciences, trauma studies, sociology/social services, substance abuse/addictions, early childhood education, or psychology from an accredited college/university.
  • Previous experience with children and family services preferred.
  • Licensure by the Kansas BSRB is preferred; driver's license and valid auto insurance required.
