Position Overview
RAYUS Radiology is seeking a dedicated MRI Imaging Specialist to enhance our team.

Join us in our mission to provide exceptional care. As an MRI Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to operate MRI equipment to capture detailed images of patients' bodies for diagnostic evaluation.

You will adopt a patient-focused approach, delivering MRI services that adhere to professional standards while ensuring outstanding customer service. Each patient visits our facilities seeking clarity and answers.

Your role will involve guiding patients through this sometimes challenging experience by effectively communicating the steps involved and addressing their inquiries and concerns regarding the examination process.

This is a full-time role with a schedule from Monday to Friday; 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
(90%) Patient MRI Imaging
Conduct thorough patient screenings prior to examinations to identify any precautions or contraindications, utilizing two patient identifiers to confirm the correct patient and procedure.
Provide clear explanations and prepare patients for MRI examinations, detailing the procedure and positioning them appropriately for optimal imaging.
Execute routine and advanced MRI procedures on specified body areas for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, ensuring minimal supervision and repeat scans, while offering patient support throughout the process.
Adjust MRI scanning parameters as necessary to achieve the best results.
Foster positive relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues.
Adhere strictly to physicians' directives and comply with safety regulations to safeguard yourself, patients, and coworkers.
Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Keep a tidy and organized workspace, promoting safety for patients and staff.
Ensure compliance with ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
Maintain MRI equipment in optimal condition; perform cleaning and disinfection after each use.
Uphold all HIPAA regulations.
(5%) MRI Department Support

Assist in updating imaging protocol manuals and software enhancements.
Monitor inventory of medical supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Support the training of new team members, providing guidance and technical expertise as required.
(5%) Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:
ARRT registered technologist, in good standing.
Graduate of an AMA-approved radiography program.
Licensed Radiological Technologist in the relevant state, if applicable.
Current CPR certification.
Must possess the training and experience necessary to independently perform MRI procedures competently.
Certification in imaging specialty.

Preferred:
Bilingual capabilities.
