Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at Apria. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting sales efforts and will visit with high-value customers and administration to ensure efficient daily operation of the branch office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategy and growth initiatives by building and maintaining relationships with key customers, developing impactful territory plans, and assisting the sales staff to achieve results.
  • Responsible for achieving key focus product starts budget and for cash collections.
  • Utilize technology and tools to support and drive sales growth through exceptional service levels and optimize performance at the branch.
  • Monitor staffing levels, expenditures, asset equipment utilization, and inventory levels to ensure maximum profit margins.
  • Ensure the effective operation and management of all functional areas of the branch, including customer service, collections, clinical, distribution, and supporting sales.
  • Partner with Managed Care counterpart to understand provider networks and grow market share.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure operational procedures comply with federal, state, local, and Joint Commission requirements.
  • Provide a safe and healthful work environment and prevent injuries by leading and implementing the Safety & Risk Management program for the branch.
  • Hire, coach, develop, and performance manage subordinate staff.

Requirements

  • College level mathematical proficiency with a strong ability to understand, interpret, and develop spreadsheet data.
  • Computer skills, including CRM proficiency and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bi-lingual (reading, writing, verbal) skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and electronically.

Working Conditions

  • Travel up to 10% of the time.
