Louisville, Kentucky, United States MRG Exams Full time

As a licensed audiologist, you have the opportunity to work with Veterans in a travel role across the United States. This position involves conducting medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

The Veteran files the claim before the assessment, and all their medical records are uploaded into a computer portal for review during the appointment. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. This forms the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran's benefits.

This is an IN-PERSON position that offers 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes per patient, with no evenings, no on-call, and no weekends. Requirements include having an Au.D degree from an ASHA Accredited school, holding a current license as an Audiologist, malpractice insurance covered by MRG, health insurance options available, and ASHA Learning Pass membership (CEU).

The compensation for this position is $3000 per week, with malpractice insurance covered by MRG, health insurance options available, and ASHA Learning Pass membership (CEU). This is an excellent opportunity for an audiologist looking to take on a travel role and serve the Veteran community.

This is a 4-day-a-week position, traveling from home Sunday evening to return home Friday evening. The schedule is designed to provide a good work-life balance, allowing you to choose which weeks you would like to travel. If you're interested in working with Veterans and have experience as an audiologist, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
