Sales Opportunity Overview

This sales position offers an uncapped commission structure, providing unlimited earning potential. With a base salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 annually, this role is ideal for ambitious sales professionals looking to build their career in the freight forwarding industry.


About the Position

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sales Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business through cold calling, building and maintaining customer relationships, and partnering with internal subject matter experts to become well-educated in all OEC products and services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business through cold calling and personal interactions with clients.
  • Build and maintain a strong customer base by recognizing freight forwarding business opportunities.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop expertise in OEC's services, including ocean, air, warehousing & distribution, LTL & FTL transportation, cargo insurance and customs brokerage.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas set by the sales management team.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum 1-5 years of experience in outside sales or operations within the freight forwarding industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in International Transportation, International Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field (optional).

About the Salary
