Accelerated Rad Tech to CT Tech Training Program

Take your career to the next level with our accelerated training program for Radiology Technologists. This 10-week program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to become a certified CT Tech.

Program Highlights
  • 10-week training program sponsored entirely by HCA Florida Blake Hospital
  • Online didactic instruction and clinical experiences at the facility
  • All testing, fees, course, and training materials provided
  • Current ARRT credential required for selection
Qualifications
  • Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school or Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Radiology Technologist

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383-bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL. We have a 13-acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement, and inpatient rehabilitation. We are a recipient of the American Heart Association's Gold Fit Friendly Designation.
