Job DescriptionAs a Special Education Teacher at KIPP New Orleans, you will play a critical role in helping students with diverse learning needs succeed. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth and academic achievement
- Utilizing diagnostic assessment tools to identify learning strengths and areas for improvement
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and provide ongoing support
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Successful completion of State and Federal Criminal Background Checks
