Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and charismatic Birthday Party Host to join our team at The Union Social. As a key member of our family entertainment center, you will play a vital role in creating unforgettable experiences for guests celebrating their special occasions.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Execution: Oversee and execute birthday parties, ensuring all details are well-organized and executed.
  • Guest Interaction: Welcome and engage party guests with warmth and enthusiasm, fostering a positive and festive atmosphere throughout the event.
  • Activities and Games: Lead and facilitate entertainment activities, games, and attractions for party guests, ensuring timely 'check ins' and participant engagement.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Assist in serving food, drinks, and birthday cake to party attendees, ensuring efficient delivery of refreshments.
  • Gift Management: Help organize and manage gifts, coordinating safekeeping during the event.
  • Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety of all party attendees during activities and games, adhering to safety protocols and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle any issues or concerns raised by party guests, parents, or organizers in a professional and effective manner, collaborating with management to resolve challenges.
  • Celebration Planning: Assist in planning and preparing party decorations, props, and themed elements, contributing creative ideas to enhance the overall experience.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries, requests, and needs, going the extra mile to exceed expectations.
  • Clean-Up: Assist in cleaning and resetting the party area after the event, ensuring the space is tidy and ready for the next party.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a party host, event coordinator, or in a customer-facing role is welcome but not necessary. A passionate personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential for engaging with guests of all ages. Ability to lead and facilitate activities, maintain organization, and think creatively is also required.

Estimated Salary Range: $13-$15 per hour
