At Sierra View Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., we are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Funeral Director. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional service to families during their most difficult times.
About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional who can manage all aspects of funeral services, from coordinating with families to arranging cremations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate empathy and compassion in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of funeral services, including coordinating with families, preparing death certificates, and completing service-related tasks.
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the funeral home, including maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements, selecting and organizing services in a professional and caring manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer competency and proficiency in funeral home software.
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
