Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Nursing Instructor to join our team at San Jacinto College. In this role, you will teach Allied Health Certified Nurse Aide- CPD related course work and contribute to the development of our students.

About the Position

This is an adjunct position working on an as-needed basis for the duration of time specified by the respective course. You will be required to teach at one or more of our college campuses or external training sites.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Allied Health Certified Nurse Aide- CPD related courses.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Qualifications
  • A valid Vocational Nursing license.
  • No less than one (1) year long-term care experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • An Associate Degree in Associate Degree Nursing.
  • Experience in instruction and curriculum design.
Salary Information

The hourly rate for this position is based on the Board-approved rate schedule for the current fiscal year. Please see the salary schedule for details.
