Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mold Technician to join our team at Avance Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of technicians to ensure efficient production and quality control.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience required.
  • 2 years of plastic injection experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of Mold Technician experience is required.
  • Ability to read measuring devices, i.e. micrometer, vernier calipers, Acu-Guage, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
  • Experience with hand tools is required.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Some math required.
  • Basic knowledge of IQMS and decoupled molding a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Moderate computer skills.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Experience with 5S and Lean Organization methods.
