Job Title: Housing Ambassador Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a Housing Ambassador Coordinator in our Residence Life team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to residents, promoting a positive living environment, and fostering a sense of community among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold office hours in the student staff lead dedicated area to provide support and guidance to residents.
  • Create positive experiences through networking events, marketing initiatives, and programming that promote a sense of community and inclusivity.
  • Promote the office through identified clothing, tabling, presentations, and hosting events on and off campus to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Participate in department and college events with Residence Life Professional Staff to build relationships and promote the office's mission.
  • Collect feedback both quantitative and qualitative to support departmental changes and improve the overall living experience.
  • Post creative and engaging content on social media to build awareness around the on-campus living experience and promote the office's initiatives.
  • Follow-up with individual residents and groups with on-campus living concerns to provide support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Hall Council, Residence Hall Association, Residence Life Advisory Committee, and other identified entities to enhance the residential experience.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, staff, and faculty.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Knowledge of marketing, branding, and communications principles to promote the office's initiatives and events.
