Sales Development Representative

We are Optimal Solutions, a thriving business consulting and sales firm based in Raleigh. Our cutting-edge marketing strategies and innovative sales tactics have earned us a reputation as a go-to partner for forward-thinking clients.
We're expanding our marketing and sales team and seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our ranks. As an Account Manager Trainee, you'll play a pivotal role in building strong relationships with clients, driving revenue growth, and exploring new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Meet with top business prospects to deliver compelling presentations and foster lasting client relationships
- Customer Education: Educate potential buyers about our clients' products, promotions, and services
- Market Expansion: Assist clients in acquiring new accounts and navigating expanding markets
- Training and Development: Collaborate with Senior Account Managers to gain comprehensive knowledge of marketing campaigns, sales strategies, and team goals
- Negotiation and Upselling: Review contracts with clients, identify concerns, and negotiate account agreements that benefit both parties
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow Account Manager Trainees, Sales Associates, and Marketing Representatives to ensure client needs are met
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
- 0-3 years of experience in Account Management, Sales Representation, or leadership roles
- Positive attitude, eagerness to develop leadership qualities, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Reliable transportation to the onsite location
Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience
