About the Job

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established and respected full-service mechanical contracting firm as a Project Manager. The company has been providing engineering, construction, building management, and service solutions to clients in South Florida for over 50 years.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all phases of mechanical HVAC projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor progress and performance against established objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a proactive manner.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project status and address concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
  • Participate in project review meetings, lessons learned sessions, and post-project evaluations.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Review and approve RFI's and submittals.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plan.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in MEP Project Management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience in project management within the mechanical engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, HVAC, plumbing, and/or industrial processes.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
