Meat Department Associate

We are seeking a skilled Meat Department Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Meat Department Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our members.

About the Job

The estimated hourly wage for this position is $18.50-$25.00. With experience and performance-based bonuses, your total compensation can exceed $28.00 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Cut, trim, and wrap meat products according to established standards and quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Utilize digital tools to track inventory, manage production, and improve the shopping experience.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment preferred.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a cold environment.
