Job Title: Maintenance Lead

Michael Foods, Inc. is a leading food processing and distribution company with a strong presence in the egg products, refrigerated grocery, and potato products industries. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team in Norwalk, Iowa.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for leading, directing, and executing all maintenance work, including emergency repair, reactive maintenance, and proactive maintenance activities. This role will also support safety, quality, food safety, and performance KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues
  • Ensure adherence to maintenance process and procedures
  • Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance team members
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics
Requirements:
  • AA in Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial operations, plant operations, maintenance, utilities, and related field
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
