Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Support Specialist to join our team As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing various delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.

Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you will assist the nursing staff in providing patient care, maintaining a clean and organized patient care environment, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

  • Assist with mobility by regular turning and positioning, dangling, and ambulating patients.
  • Obtain or assist in the collection of specimens for diagnostic or waived tests.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including eating and drinking, bathing, shaving, oral care, grooming, and elimination.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
